Custom mirrors made to fit your space perfectly

Off-the-shelf mirrors rarely suit awkward wall spaces, tight bathrooms or unusual room dimensions. The result can make a bathroom, bedroom or wardrobe look unfinished, especially when the mirror is too small, sits poorly under lighting or leaves odd gaps around the edges.

A custom mirror is measured and manufactured to fit the space, rather than forcing the room to work around a standard size.

Your mirror can be made in a range of shapes and sizes, with a frameless finish and polished edges. Bathrooms, bedrooms, wardrobes and floor mirrors inside wardrobes are all common projects. For unusual shapes, a physical template can be supplied so the mirror is cut to match the outline.

Custom shapes and template-based fabrication

Your mirror is measured and manufactured to fit your specific space rather than standard sizing limits. Alongside the usual shapes, a few less common options can also be cut, such as oval, round, rectangular, square, pill shaped or pond shaped
For one-off or genuinely unusual shapes, your project starts from a physical template you supply. To be clear, freehand drawing or design work for complicated shapes isn't offered, but turning your template into a cut mirror is the part we handle with care. Templates can be made from MDF, cardboard or timber.

These mirrors pair well with a
frameless shower, and larger projects sometimes combine kitchen splashbacks.

Transform your space with custom glass mirror designs

Bathrooms and bedrooms are the most popular spots for bespoke mirrors, and full-length floor mirrors inside wardrobes are a regular request. Each one is custom made to suit a tight bathroom wall, a bedroom feature area or the inside of a wardrobe.

Your mirror can also be fitted hard up underneath existing vanity or wall lights for a clean look. One detail to keep in mind: lighting and electrical work is not handled by Clarity Glass. Your electrician installs those components before the mirror is fitted.

If other glass needs sorting during the same renovation, that can be discussed alongside
glass repair work.

Measure, order and installation handled locally

Clarity Glass works across Dunedin and the wider Otago region. Your space is measured, the glass is ordered through a trusted supplier, and the mirror is made to fit the agreed shape and size.

A phone call is often the easiest start, because shapes, sizes, and finishes are simpler to discuss in a real conversation. Three details are useful:
  • The shape you want
  • The size or space it fits
  • The location in your home
From there, the measure, order, and installation are arranged. Many homeowners pair mirror work with retrofit double glazing during wider upgrades.

Custom mirrors can be made in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Standard shapes include round, oval, rectangle, square, pill shaped and pond shaped. Unusual shapes need a physical template supplied.

For unusual layouts, your project starts with accurate measuring and a physical template if required. MDF, cardboard or timber can be used for the template before the mirror is cut to shape.

Clarity Glass usually installs the mirror as part of the job. Optional installation methods can include double-sided tape or mirror mounting hooks, depending on what is suitable for the project.

Mirrors can be fitted hard up underneath existing vanity or wall lights where the space allows. Electrical work and lighting installation need to be completed by others before the mirror is fitted.

Frameless mirrors with polished edges suit bathrooms, bedrooms and wardrobes where a clean finish is preferred. Large wall mirrors and shaped mirrors can be made to suit the space when measurements or templates are provided.
